Kat is a lifelong dancer from Bellingham, and has had the privilege of teaching and choreographing within our community for many years. She is trained in tap, ballet, and jazz, but is now primarily focused on tap and musical theater. Kat is passionate about working with both kids and adults to help achieve their movement goals, while having a ton of fun along the way.

MISS CLAIRE

Claire has been dancing since the age of three, specializing in ballet, jazz and contemporary dance. A competitive dancer for many years, she performed in The Nutcracker for 12 seasons and trained at Point Park University before moving to Bellingham. There, she began teaching ballet, jazz, and contemporary, sharing their passion and experience with students.

Claire has also taken Pilates courses, integrating this training into their dance practice and teaching. With a focus on technique and artistry, they continue to inspire the next generation of dancers.

MISS KAMBER

Kamber has been dancing since she was three years old in her home town of Belgrade, Montana. She trained and competed from the ages of 7 to 18 until she graduated high school. Kamber loves to dance all styles, but has a very special place in her heart for dancing and teaching tap.

Currently Kamber is a student at WWU pursuing a double major in Linguistics and Spanish. On campus, Kamber loves to take advantage of all the recreational dance opportunities. Kamber is a captain of the WWU Dance Team and loves to attend other clubs to dance whenever she can!

MISS EMILY M

Miss Emily M fell in love with Bellingham after attending Western Washington University and feels lucky to call Whatcom County home. Emily has trained for 15+ years in a variety of styles of dance. She began her teaching journey in 2016 in the Seattle area, and has since taught dance fitness classes, choreography workshops, swing dance, and more. She loves working with dancers to explore their potential as multi-faceted artists, and wants to help each student grow while finding the joy in dance.

One of Emily’s favorite aspects of dance (especially with her roots as a musician) is finding new ways to express musicality and to share that with others. Plus, there's nothing better than finding a good groove!

MISS EMILY P

Emily, originally from Portland OR, moved up to Bellingham to study Dance and Biology at Western Washington University. While there, she danced and choreographed in many Western productions and represented the university at national conferences in Utah and California. Emily continues to perform and choreograph locally. Emily also completed a thesis research project on dance for Parkinson’s disease and trained with Dance for PD teach classes in Bellingham and Lynden.

In her classes, Emily is passionate about empowering her students to develop an intuitive understanding of their body, safe movement practices and agency in their dancing.
